Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha admitted that she was a transgender when she started high school. Sasha had to face some tough times but knew his family would support him and that music could aid. Jim and Sasha are both song writers and are just beginning to form an official music duo. Since then, they have appeared at numerous local venues, including open mics. The Voice coaches didn't discuss Sasha's past, but Jim and he shared their experiences prior to performing. Sasha started playing guitar when she was just six years old. Jim and Sasha spoke about their tastes in music as well as shared their stories about how they first met. His father was a music instructor made it easier for Sasha to learn the craft. Sasha was born female and had a hard time finding his own identity while he was young. In an earlier post on Instagram, the young man spoke out and discussed his challenges. Then, Jim overcame with emotion as he explained why he couldn't be a part of those trying moments. Sasha Allen (The Voice contestant) was a girl when her birth. Sasha posted on Instagram: "I'm proud to be the third transgender person trans gender to have appeared in the program. I'm so grateful to be a part of this community."
