Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. She is most famous for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Additionally, she's known as the star of the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin was born to an employee of a department store and an elementary school teacher. Her first acting experience was in the age of seven when her aunt, an nanny for Michael Landon's family, helped Martin get a part as in the TV show Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University she began to take acting seriously, landing roles on both the small and large screen. Martin was also an artist and photographer. Two-time mother, Martin is the spokesperson for the nation for Lupus and has been informing people about the illness after her sister passed away at the age of 19.
